GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence women's basketball program travels to Havre, Mont. for a conference matchup versus Montana State University-Northern. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Jan. 18 in the Armory Gymnasium. Â

The Argos defeated Montana Western University 68-59 in a Frontier Conference matchup. Freshman Keanna Salave'a added a double-double for the Argos scoring 20 points and grabbing 12 rebounds while senior Maddy Dixon added 15 points and three assists in the victory.Â

Graduate transfer Ashlee Maldonado is the Argos leading scorer and assist getter so far this season, averaging 18.1pts and 4.4ast per game. Salave'a has the most rebounds with 11.1per game, and she is also second on the team in points averaging 14.6. Defensively, Maldonado leads the Argos averaging 1.6 steals per game.   Â

The Argos are currently on a 10-game winning streak versus MSU-Northern including their last matchup on 2/4/2023 in Havre, Mont. MSUN is 8-8 so far this season and are coming off a 76-75 win on a last second shot against #12 Rocky Mountain College. Â
