GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence women's basketball program returns home for a conference matchup versus Montana Tech. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Jan. 20 in the McLaughlin Center.  

Last Time Out  

The Argos defeated Montana State University-Northern 69-55 in Frontier Conference action. Graduate senior Ashlee Maldonado led the way for the Argos scoring 20 points and grabbing nine rebounds. Freshman Monique Carter added 16 points and three assists in the victory. 

Season Leaders  

Maldonado is the Argos leading scorer and assist getter so far this season, averaging 18.2pts and 4.4ast per game. Freshman Keanna Salave'a has the most rebounds with 10.9 per game, and she is also second on the team in points averaging 14.5. Defensively, Maldonado leads the Argos averaging 1.9 steals per game.  

Montana Tech 

The Argos have won eight out of their last ten matchups versus the Orediggers with their last win coming on 2/11/2023 in Great Falls, Mont. Montana Tech is 10-7 so far this season and are coming off a 75-55 loss against Montana Western their last time out.

The Argos will face the Orediggers on Jan. 20. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. in the McLaughlin Center.
