GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence women's basketball program is set to host a conference matchup versus Rocky Mountain College. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Jan. 25 in the McLaughlin Center.
Last Time Out
The Argos defeated Montana Tech 65-53 in Frontier Conference action. Graduate senior Ashlee Maldonado led the way for the Argos scoring 15 points and grabbing four rebounds. Freshman Keanna Salave'a contributed big in the win scoring 13 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and passing for six assists.
Season Leaders
Maldonado is the Argos leading scorer and assist getter so far this season, averaging 18.0pts and 4.2ast per game. Salave'a has the most rebounds with 10.9per game, and she is also second on the team in points averaging 14.4. Defensively, Maldonado leads the Argos averaging 1.8 steals per game.
Rocky Mountain College
Rocky Mountain College is currently receiving votes in the NAIA polls. The Argos and Battlin' Bears have split their last ten matchups winning five each, with the Argos last win coming on 1/11/2024 in Billings, Mont. Rocky is 11-6 so far this season and are coming off a 86-65 loss against Montana Western their last time out.
