GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence women's basketball program travels to Dillon, Montana for a conference matchup against the Bulldogs. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the Straugh Gymnasium.
Last Time Out
The Argos defeated #6 ranked Carroll College 63-40 in a huge Frontier Conference matchup. Graduate transfer Ashlee Maldonado led the way for the Argos with a near triple double, scoring 14 points, grabbing nine rebounds, and passing for 8 assists. Senior Maddy Dixon added 10 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the victory.
Season Leaders
Maldonado is the Argos leading scorer and assist getter so far this season, averaging 17.4pts and 4.5ast per game. Freshman Keanna Salave'a has the most rebounds with 10.7 per game, and she is also second on the team in points averaging 13.8. Defensively, Maldonado leads the Argos averaging 1.9 steals per game.
Montana Western
The Argos have won five out of the last ten against the Bulldogs with the Argos last win coming on 1/13/2024 in Great Falls, Mont. Montana Western is 11-9 so far this season and are coming off a 69-51 loss against MSU-Northern their last time out.
