GREAT FALLS, Mont. –
The University of Providence women's soccer program fell to Northwest University 5-1 Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles (5-2-4) scored the first goal of the game in the eighth minute and would score a pair in the 18
th and 20
th minute to take an early 3-0 lead. Â
The Argos (5-10-1) had a chance in the 26
th minute but freshman
Andriah Watson's shot was saved by the goalkeeper.
The Eagles would add another goal in the 33
rd minute and despite a late shot from Watson, the Argos went into the break trailing 4-0.
 Ten minutes into the second half the Argos got on the board when senior
Ernestina S. Ofori found junior
Kailey Camper to make it 4-1.
Northwest University added a goal in the 78
th minute, and despite late shots from sophomore
Shea Waters and Watson, the Argos fell to the Eagles 5-1.
The Argos will be back in action Sunday, Nov. 3, when they travel to Helena, Mont. The first touch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. (MST) versus Carroll College. Â Â
