GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's basketball team heads to Oklahoma City, Okla. for their season opener. The Argos will face The University of Science and Arts (Okla.) on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. (MST) and Mid-American Christian University on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (MST).
The Argos were ranked as the #2 team in the NAIA in the preseason coaches' poll after making it to the program's first NAIA National Championship game after beating Carroll College in the Fab Four. #2 is the highest ranking in program history.
The 2024-2025 University of Providence team has many impactful returners including five players that started last season in seniors

Kolby Pimperton, junior
McKenna Reggear and sophomores
Keanna Salave'a and
Monique Carter.
University of Science and Arts
The Drovers finished last season with a record of 19-11 and fell to Dakota State in the first round of the NAIA National Championship. This will be the first matchup in program history between the University of Science and Arts and the University of Providence.
Mid-American Christian
The Evangels were receiving votes in the preseason NAIA Coaches Poll after finishing last season with a record of 22-9 and fell to Briar Cliff in the first round of the NAIA National Championship. This will be the first matchup in program history between Mid-American Christian and the University of Providence.
