The University of Providence men's soccer program fell to Bushnell University 2-1 Friday afternoon.
The Beacons (6-2-1) had the first chance of the game, but Bushnell's shot was saved by sophomore goalkeeper
Teddy Benbow.
The Argos (3-5) would respond with a chance of their own from senior
Tomeu Nebot Schmalfeld, but his shot was just saved by the goalie.
Each side would have a few chances the rest of the half but neither were able to capitalize as UP went into the half tied at zero.
The Beacons added goals in the 49
th and 71
st minute, and despite a late goal from Schmalfeld, the Argos fell to Bushnell University 2-1.
The Argos will be back in action Oct. 5 when they host Corban University. The first touch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. in Great Falls, Mont.
