GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's soccer program fell to Bushnell University 2-1 Friday afternoon.   

The Beacons (6-2-1) had the first chance of the game, but Bushnell's shot was saved by sophomore goalkeeper Teddy Benbow.

The Argos (3-5) would respond with a chance of their own from senior Tomeu Nebot Schmalfeld, but his shot was just saved by the goalie.

Each side would have a few chances the rest of the half but neither were able to capitalize as UP went into the half tied at zero.  

The Beacons added goals in the 49^th and 71^st minute, and despite a late goal from Schmalfeld, the Argos fell to Bushnell University 2-1.

The Argos will be back in action Oct. 5 when they host Corban University. The first touch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. in Great Falls, Mont.
