GREAT FALLS, Mont. –
The University of Providence women's soccer program fell to Bushnell University 2-0 Friday afternoon.
The Argos (5-3-1) had the first chance of the game, but freshman
Holly St. Germain's shot was saved by the goalkeeper.
The Beacons (3-7) would add a goal in the 24
th minute to take a 1-0 lead, and despite a few chances from senior
Ernestina S. Ofori and freshman
Andriah Watson, UP went into the break trailing by one.
Bushnell came out of halftime with pressure and were able to extend their lead to two in the 63
rd minute.
UP was able to get a shot on goal from freshman
Danny Bard, but the Beacons were able to control the rest of the game as the Argos fell to Bushnell University 2-0.
The Argos will be back in action Oct. 5 when they host Corban University. The first touch is scheduled for 1 p.m. in Great Falls, Mont.
