GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's wrestling team hosts #19 MSU-Northern Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. in the McLaughlin Center.

Last Time Out
The Argos opened the season with a pair of dual victories over RV Eastern Oregon and Clackamas Community College. In the Argos win over the Cougars #22 Kobi Johnson defeated returning NJCAA National Champion Ane'e Vigil. UP also saw freshman Spencer Johnson take first place at the Mountaineer Open where he picked up a ranked win over #12 Michael Moreno.

The Argos opened the season as the #6 ranked team in the NAIA Top 20 poll with 12 individual wrestlers ranked in the top 25 of their respective weight classes in #3 Abel Nava Jr., #6 Sawyer Hobbs, #6 Aden Graves, #7 Ethan DeRoche, #9 Pig Hobbs, #10 Jalen Vladic, #11 Caleb Werner, #12 Bridger Hall, #22 Kobi Johnson, #23 Liam Swanson, #24 Na'u McBrayer, and #25 Dougie Swanson.

#19 MSU-Northern
The Northern Lights were ranked #19 in the preseason NAIA Top 20 poll after finishing 21^st at the NAIA National Championships last season. MSU-Northern had five wrestlers ranked in the preseason rankings including #22 Justin Windauer at 157, #16 Devin Crawford at 165, #3 Rylin Burns and #7 Austin Vanek at 184, and #19 Shane Mattson at 285.
