GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence women's basketball program hosts MSU-Northern in a key conference matchup tomorrow. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. in the McLaughlin Center.
Last Time Out
The Argos were defeated by Montana Western 69-52. Graduate transfer Ashlee Maldonado led the way for the Argos scoring 13 points, grabbing six rebounds, and passing for three assists. Junior Kolby Pimperton added eight points and grabbed four rebounds.
Season Leaders
Maldonado is the Argos leading scorer and assist getter so far this season, averaging 17.1pts and 4.3ast per game. Freshman Keanna Salave'a has the most rebounds with 10.7 per game, and she is also second on the team in points averaging 13.7. Defensively, Maldonado leads the Argos averaging 1.8 steals per game.
MSU Northern
The Argos have won 11 games in a row against the Skylights including the Argos victory this season on 1/18/2024 in Havre, Mont. MSU-Northern is 10-11 so far this season and are coming off a 77-54 loss against Rocky Mountain College their last time out.
