GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence women's basketball program plays host to Montana State University-Northern in a conference matchup. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. in the McLaughlin Center.
Last Time Out
The Argos defeated Montana Western 71-56. Freshman Keanna Salave'a led the way for the Argos with a 15 point and 15 rebound double-double. Senior Maddy Dixon scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while junior Kolby Pimperton added 13 points and a pair of steals.
Season Leaders
Graduate transfer Ashlee Maldonado is the Argos leading scorer and assist getter so far this season, averaging 16.9pts and 4.2ast per game. Salave'a has the most rebounds with 10.7 per game, and she is also second on the team in points averaging 12.8. Defensively, Maldonado leads the Argos averaging 1.9 steals per game and Dixon is averaging 1.2 blocks per game.
MSU Northern
The Argos are on a 12-game winning streak against the Skylights with their last win coming on 2/3/2024 in Great Falls, Mont. Northern is 11-15 so far this season and is coming off a 72-61 victory against Rocky Mountain College their last time out.
