GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence women's basketball program travels to Butte to take on the Orediggers in a conference matchup. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at the Kelvin Sampson Court. 

Last Time Out  

The Argos defeated MSU-Northern 74-69. Graduate transfer Ashlee Maldonado poured in 27 points and dished out six assists to lead the Argos. Freshman Keanna Salave'a added a double-double scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Defensively the Argos had five players each snag two steals in the winning effort.   

Season Leaders  

Maldonado is the Argos leading scorer and assist getter so far this season, averaging 17.6pts and 4.5ast per game. Salave'a has the most rebounds with 10.7 per game, and she is also second on the team in points averaging 13.8. Defensively, Maldonado leads the Argos averaging 1.9 steals per game and senior Maddy Dixon is averaging 1.2 blocks per game.  

Montana Tech 

The Argos are 8-2 against the Orediggers in their last ten contests with the Argos last win coming on 1/20/2024 in Great Falls, Mont. Tech is 11-11 so far this season and are coming off a 76-66 victory against Montana Western their last time out.  

How to Watch  

The Argos will face the Orediggers on Feb. 8. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at the Kelvin Sampson Court.
