GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's basketball team hosts Montana Western on Thursday, Jan. 30.  Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the McLaughlin Center.

 Last Time Out
The Argos went 2-0, defeating #19 Rocky Mountain College and Carroll College to move into sole possession of second place in the Frontier Conference. Senior Antoine Boyd Jr. was named the Frontier Conference Player of the Week after averaging 25.5 points per game over the weekend.  

Stat Leaders
The Argos leading scorer so far this season has been senior Jamil Bowles who is averaging 16.1 points per game. Bowles is also leading the team in rebounds with 8.7 per game. UP has two others averaging double figure scoring in senior Antoine Boyd Jr. with 13.9 and senior Mike Wright Jr. with 12.9. Defensively Boyd Jr. leads the way with 1.6 steals per game and is has the team high in assists with 2.7 per game.

Montana Western
The Bulldogs are 11-9 so far this season and are coming off a 69-66 victory over MSU-Northern their last time out. The Argos are 5-5 in their last 10 contests against Montana Western including a 67-65 victory earlier this season on 1/11/25 in Dillon.
