GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's basketball team heads to California for their season opener. The Argos will face Life Pacific on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. (MST) and The Master's University on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. (MST).
The 2025-2026 University of Providence team is a mix of returners and newcomers including seniors
Ryan Chavez,
Brendan Redhead, and sophomore
Quinn Swanson who all saw significant playing time in 2024-2025. UP also welcomes transfers in senior
Jakub Lloyd, and juniors
Jermaine Rogers II, and
Preston Condie.

Life Pacific
The Warriors finished last season with a record of 12-10 and welcome first year head coach Evan Jenkins who took over the program this season. This will be the first matchup in program history between Life Pacific and the University of Providence when they face off in San Dimas, Calif. on Mehl Court.

The Master's University
The Mustangs were ranked #9 in the preseason NAIA Coaches Poll after finishing last season with a record of 26-6 and fell to Southern Oregon in the second round of the NAIA National Tournament. This will be the first matchup in program history between The Master's and the University of Providence when they face off in Santa Clarita, Calif. in The MacArthur Center.
