LA GRANDE, Ore. -- The University of Providence women's soccer
program fell to Eastern Oregon 3-2 Friday night.
The Mountaineers (11-4-1) had the first opportunity of the game when in the second minute a shot from 50 yards out from Peyton Jacaway bounced past the Argo goalkeeper to give Eastern Oregon a 1-0 lead.
The Argos (4-8-2) responded a minute later when sophomore
Peyton Schmauch chipped it over the defenders to senior
Kailey Camper and her sliding shot went top corner to tie the game at one.

th minute, and despite a late shot from junior
