GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's basketball team hosts a pair of matchups in the McLaughlin Center for their season opener. The Argos will face Texas A&M University San Antonio on Friday at 5:00 p.m. and Bushnell University on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.

The 2025-2026 University of Providence team is a mix of returners and newcomers including seniors Ainsley Thurber, McKenna Reggear, Camryn Cartwright, and junior Eliannah Ramirez who all saw significant playing time in 2024-2025. UP also welcomes transfers in junior Brooke Dial, and seniors Sofia Mokofisi and Katie Fleming.  
 
Texas A&M San Antonio
The Jaguars finished last season with a record of 18-12 falling in the semifinals of the RRAC Conference Tournament. This will be the first matchup in program history between Texas A&M San Antonio and the University of Providence when they face off on Friday.
 
Bushnell University
The Beacons finished last season with a record of 11-18 and fell to LC State in the first round of the Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament. The Argos are 3-0 in their history versus the Beacons defeating Bushnell 62-48 last season in Great Falls.
