GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's basketball team hosts MSU-Northern on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. for the Frontier Conference opener.
 
Last Time Out
The Argos defeated Wayland Baptist 55-36 to move to 3-0 on the season. Senior Ainsley Thurber led the way for UP with 13 points and 12 rebounds.  
 
Stat Leaders
The Argos leading scorer so far this season has been senior Ainsley Thurber who is averaging 15.3 points per game. Thurber is also leading the team in rebounds with 10 per game and UP has two others averaging near double figure scoring in junior Brooke Dial with 15 and senior Katie Fleming with nine. Defensively freshman Madi Reibel leads the way with 2.7 steals per game.
 
MSU-Northern
The Skylights are 1-1 so far this season and are coming off a 67-41 victory over Wayland Baptist their last time out. The Argos are 10-0 in their last 10 matchups versus MSU-Northern defeating the Skylights in all three meetings last season.
