GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's volleyball team hosts Northwest University on Saturday, Nov. 22 for the first round of the NAIA National Tournament. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in the McLaughlin Center.
Last Time Out
The Argos defeated Montana Western, Montana Tech, and #6 Bellevue to win their second straight Frontier Conference Tournament Championship. The Argos also had eight Argos earn All-Conference accolades with senior
Bella Thompson being named the Frontier Conference Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference,
Sadie Giles,
Cabry Taylor, and
Bella Green were named First Team,
Kyra Saiers was second team,
Martyna Fiedler was an honorable mention selection, and
Arunas Duda and
Sacha Simmons earned Frontier Conference Head and Assistant Coach of the Year.

NAIA Tournament
Following their record setting 31-win season where the Argos finished the regular season campaign as the #2 ranked team in the NAIA Coaches Poll, UP was awarded the #6 National Seed in the NAIA National Tournament.

Stat Leaders
The Argos lead attacker so far this season has been senior
Bella Green who is averaging 3.12 kills per set which places her fifth in the Frontier Conference. Senior
Bella Thompson is third in the NAIA in assists per set with 11.44 and is leading the conference in total assists with 1167. Defensively, junior
Cabry Taylor is currently first in the conference in blocks per set with 1.27 while junior
Kyra Saiers is fourth in the conference with 5.44 digs per set and senior
Sadie Giles is ninth with 4.08. Â

Northwest University
The Eagles finished their regular season 16-12 overall and 9-11 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference and fell in the quarterfinals of the CCC Tournament to Bushnell University 3-2 their last time out. The Argos are 3-4 in their history versus Northwest University falling in the most recent matchup 3-1 in Butte, Mont. in 2022. Â
