GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's basketball team hits the road for a pair of Frontier Conference matchups. The Argos will face Dakota State on Friday at 6:00 p.m. in Madison, S.D. and Bellevue University on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. in Bellevue, Neb.
Stat Leaders
The Argos leading scorer so far this season has been junior
Marvel Chambers Jr. who is averaging 13 points per game. Sophomore
Quinn Swanson is leading the team in rebounds with 6.6 per game and UP has two others averaging double figure scoring in seniors
Jakub Lloyd and
Brendan Redhead with 11.4 points per game apiece. Defensively Chambers Jr. leads the way with 1.6 steals per game.
Dakota State
The Trojans are 4-1 so far this season and are coming off a 78-72 loss to Bellevue their last time out. This will be the first matchup in program history between the Argos and Dakota State when they meet on Friday at 6:00 p.m.
Bellevue University
The Bruins are 6-0 so far this season and are coming off a 78-72 victory over Dakota State their last time out. This will be the first matchup in program history between the Argos and Bellevue University when they meet on Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
