PORTLAND, Ore. -- The University of Providence softball program split in their double header versus Warner Pacific Saturday defeating the Knights 5-4 and falling 12-11.
 
The Argos (6-9) got on the board first when senior Sydnee Weber put the ball in play to score sophomore Kasidy Yeoman.
 
Neither side added a run in the second but in the top of the third freshman Tehneson Ehnes doubled to right field to score Yeoman and senior Kolbi Wood.
 
UP did not stop there with a double from Weber and a single from junior Tiffany Fuentes to put UP ahead 5-0.
 
The Knights scored four runs over the next two innings, but freshman Madison White shut down Warner Pacific down the stretch as UP won the final game of the series 5-4. White threw all seven innings, striking out six.
