PORTLAND, Ore. -- The University of Providence softball program split in their double header versus Warner Pacific Saturday defeating the Knights 5-4 and falling 12-11.

The Argos (6-9) got on the board first when senior
Sydnee Weber put the ball in play to score sophomore
Kasidy Yeoman.

Neither side added a run in the second but in the top of the third freshman
Tehneson Ehnes doubled to right field to score Yeoman and senior
Kolbi Wood.
Â
UP did not stop there with a double from Weber and a single from junior
Tiffany Fuentes to put UP ahead 5-0.

The Knights scored four runs over the next two innings, but freshman
Madison White shut down Warner Pacific down the stretch as UP won the final game of the series 5-4. White threw all seven innings, striking out six. Â
