GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's basketball program faces #21 Montana Tech for the Frontier Conference Championship. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Pacific Steel & Recycling Arena.
 
Last Time Out
The Argos defeated Carroll College 70-74 in the semifinals of the Frontier Conference Tournament. Senior Jamil Bowles led the way with 21 points, seven assists, and six rebounds and senior Antoine Boyd Jr. added 18 points and five rebounds.  
 
Stat Leaders
The Argos leading scorer so far this season has been senior Jamil Bowles who is averaging 15.7 points per game. Bowles is also leading the team in rebounds with 8.6 per game. UP has two others averaging double figure scoring in senior Antoine Boyd Jr. with 14.7 and Mike Wright Jr. with 13.5. Defensively Boyd Jr. leads the way with 1.6 steals per game and has the team high in assists with 2.9 per game.
 
Montana Tech
The Orediggers are 23-6 so far this season and are coming off an 82-73 win against Rocky Mountain College in their respective semifinal. The Argos are 1-2 so far this season against #21 Montana Tech but are 1-0 in Great Falls.
