GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence softball program fell to the University of British Columbia 9-0 Thursday afternoon.

With snow falling in Great Falls the Thunderbirds (14-16) got on board first when Shae Sever singled to center field to score Keona Nordquist from third.

Neither side was able to add a run over the next two innings until the top of the fourth when Jessica Heutink singled to right field to score Marin Jorgenson to put UBC ahead 2-0.

The Thunderbirds would score four runs in the fifth and two runs in the sixth and despite a pair of hits from freshman
Tehneson Ehnes and
Sydnee Weber, the Argos fell to the University of British Columbia 9-0.
