Argo Athletics Announces 2025 Hall of Fame Class

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence has announced that six individuals and one team will be joining the Argo Athletics Hall of Fame in 2025. Lindsey Abramson, Myles Mazurkiewicz, Brad Beffert, Robby Tillman, Tosha Nunes, Craig Bonnarens, and the 1981-1982 men's basketball team will be the newest members enshrined during Argo Weekend.

Lindsey Abramson played and started in all 122 games for the Argos while leading UP to their first ever NAIA National Tournament Elite Eight. Lindsey was a two-time All-American for the Argos and holds the Frontier Conference single game scoring record of 51 points, is #5 in program history in career points with 1,585, #2 in career rebounds with 1,204, #2 in career blocks with 137, #1 in career double-doubles with 44, and is still in the record book 14 times 10 years after she graduated.

Brad Beffert is entering his 25th year as an Athletic Trainer at the University of Providence in 2025-2026. Following graduation from South Dakota State Beffert became the first Athletic Trainer since Athletics returned to the University when he joined the staff in 2001. Brad oversaw the Fitness Center remodel in 2017 and now oversees all risk management and student wellness as the Assistant Athletic Director.

Myles Mazurkiewicz is one of two four-time All-Americans in Argo Wrestling history placing second twice, fifth, and sixth at the NAIA National Championships in his four years as an Argo. Mazurkiewicz still holds the career win record of 136, single season wins a record of 59 and is third in career pins with 59.

Craig Bonnarens was a member of the Argo men's basketball team from 1971-1975 and was a two-time MVP, three-time McLaughlin Award winner, was a member of the "Who's Who Among students in American Universities and Colleges" in 1973 and was an honorable mention All-American and District 12 All Star Team member in 1974.

Tosha Nunes was a four-year starter for the Argos women's volleyball program and is #3 all-time in career kills at 1107 behind Argo Hall of Famers Madison Wilhelm and Kelsey Van Uden. Nunes was the 2008 Frontier Conference Freshman of the Year, a three-time all-conference honoree, and is #11 all time in career blocks.

Robby Tillman was a member of the Argo men's basketball team from 1979-1983 that won three straight Frontier Conference Championships. Tillman was an all-around scorer and defender and is #6 all time in career scoring with 1,616 points.

Argo Athletics is also inducting the 1981-1982 men's basketball team that went 27-6 and set 12 school records on their way to the Frontier Conference Championship. That team comprised of Johhny Davis, Chuck Felton, Kevin Fuller, Martin Jones, Ray Johnson, Jerry Moore, Vic Nevins, Doug Robison, Jerry Schmitz, Robby Tillman, Stu Van Horn, Tony Woodlee, Steve Aggers, Fred Schnell, and Kevin O'Connor had seven sellout crowds in 1981-1982 and defeated Jamestown in the District 12 playoffs.
