Lucky Lovan and assistant strength and conditioning coach
Brooke Foster can nominate one athlete per sport to be a National Strength and Conditioning Association All-American each year.
The University of Providence nominates two athletes per month to reward the student-athletes hard work and dedication to the weight room. This puts them in contention to be named a NSCA strength and conditioning All-American.
Franny is from Orland, Calif. and is currently in her second year with the women's volleyball program at UP. Lovan stated, "Franny is always ready to go whenever you need her most. Her attitude and work ethic are unmatched. She continues to push herself at every lift and helps encourage her teammates when they need it most. She's gotten so much stronger during her time at UP but more importantly has blossomed into such a wonderful person."
Teders is from Helena, Mont. and is currently in his third season with the men's golf program at UP. Foster stated, "Dutch Teders has an unmatched ambition to succeed in the weightroom. His eagerness to learn only propels him forward as an athlete, student, and overall individual. Dutch's progress is already evident and continues to grow at a fast rate due to his work ethic and coach-ability. He provides positive energy to his teammates when needed, asks questions when he is curious, and challenges himself with adding weight on the barbell. I am excited to see where his lifting journey takes him!"
