GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's volleyball team hosts Mayville State and Valley City State on Friday and Saturday for the home opener. UP will face the Comets at 7 p.m. on Friday and the Vikings at 2 p.m. on Saturday. 

Last Time Out
The Argos opened Frontier Conference play with victories over Carroll College, Rocky Mountain College, and MSU-Northern. Following their successful week, senior Bella Thompson surpassed 3000 career assists and took home her 13^th career Frontier Conference Setter of the Week award.

Stat Leaders
The Argos lead attacker so far this season has been junior Cabry Taylor who has 96 kills which places her fifth in the Frontier Conference. Thompson is currently second in the conference in assists per set with 10.53 and is first in total assists with 337. Defensively, Taylor is currently first in the conference in blocks per set with 1.24 while junior Kyra Saiers is leading the conference with 198 digs.  
 
Mayville State
The Comets are 2-5 so far in 2025 and are 0-3 in Frontier Conference play after falling to Valley City State, #21 Montana Tech, and Montana Western. The Argos are 4-1 in their history versus Mayville State with the Argos winning last year's matchup 3-0 in Billings.
 
Valley City State
The Vikings were receiving votes in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll after starting their season 3-5 with victories over Missouri Valley, Mayville State, and Morningside University. The Argos are 2-1 in their history versus Valley City State but have never faced off in Great Falls.
