Argos Head to North Dakota for Pair of Conference Matchups

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's volleyball team heads to North Dakota for a pair of Frontier Conference matchups with Bismarck State and Dickinson State.

Last Time Out
The Argos swept both Mayville State and Valley City State as head coach Arunas Duda reached his 400th career victory. Following their successful week, senior Bella Thompson earned her third straight Frontier Conference Setter of the Week award and she also earned her second career NAIA Setter of the Week honor.

Stat Leaders
The Argos lead attacker so far this season has been junior Cabry Taylor who is averaging 2.76 kills per set which places her eighth in the Frontier Conference. Thompson is fifth in the NAIA in assists per set with 10.87 and is currently leading the conference in total assists with 413. Defensively, Taylor is currently first in the conference in blocks per set with 1.32 while junior Kyra Saiers is second in the conference with 5.45 digs per set.  
 
Bismarck State
The Mystics are 2-7 so far in 2025 and are 0-5 in Frontier Conference play after falling to Montana Tech and Montana Western their last time out. This will be the first matchup in program history between the Argos and Bismarck State when they meet at 5:00 p.m. (MST) on Friday in the BSC Armory.
 
Dickinson State
The Blue Hawks were receiving votes in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll after starting their season 7-3 with victories over Bellevue and Dakota State. The Argos are 2-0 in their history when visiting Dickinson State with the last victory coming in 2013. UP will face off with the Blue Hawks at 10:00 a.m. (MST) on Saturday in Scott Gymnasium.
