Box Score DICKINSON, N.D. – The University of Providence women's volleyball program picked up their 13th straight victory with a sweep over Dickinson State Saturday morning.

In the first set both teams went back-and forth until a 6-2 run from Argos (14-1) behind kills from seniors Bella Thompson and Bella Green gave UP an 11-6 lead. The Blue Hawks (7-5) would bring the set within two, but UP scored seven of the last nine points of the set with kills from senior Ryann Eddins and junior Kyra Saiers securing the first for the Argos 25-18.

The Argos continued their momentum into the second set getting out to an early 14-6 lead behind a pair of kills from senior Sadie Giles and an ace from sophomore Isabelle Cahall. Dickinson State did not go away slowly cutting into the lead forcing ties at 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20, but UP answered scoring four of the last five with a kill from junior Cabry Taylor taking the second set for the Argos 25-21.

Each side traded points to start the third set until three straight from the Argos off kills from senior Franny Martins and Taylor gave UP an 11-8 edge. Despite late pressure from the Blue Hawks, the Argos maintained that edge the rest of the way with a kill from junior Martyna Fiedler securing the third set 25-20, and the match 3-0.

Green led the way for the Argos with nine kills, Thompson added 33 assists and junior Kyra Saiers had a team high 22 digs.
