MISSOULA, Mont. -- The University of Providence's men's and women's cross-country programs competed at the Montana Invite this weekend.
The highlight for the Argos was sophomore
Kelsey Stensland-Plymale who was the first NAIA runner to cross the finish line placing eighth with a time of 19:09.9. Kelsey finished before all Montana runners and was 28 seconds faster than the next NAIA runner from Montana Tech.
On the men's side freshman
Kyler Harris finished in 30
th at 26:32.6 and sophomore
Zoran LaFrombois finished in 32
nd nine seconds after Harris.
The Argos will be back in action Oct. 3 when they head to Pocatello, Idaho for the Bengal Invitational. Runners will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Centennial Cross Country Course.
