Argos Host Pair of Frontier Conference Matchups

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's basketball team hosts Rocky Mountain College and Carroll College on Jan. 16-17. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. (MST) on Friday and Saturday in Great Falls, Mont.
 
Stat Leaders
The Argos leading scorer so far this season has been junior Brooke Dial who is averaging 12.6 points per game. Dial is also leading the team in rebounds with 5.9 per game and senior Ainsley Thurber is second on the team in rebounds with 5.3 per game and is second in scoring with 9.8 points per game. Defensively, junior Eliannah Ramirez leads the way with 1.6 steals per game and is tied with Thurber at 9.8 points per game.
 
Rocky Mountain College
The Battlin' Bears were ranked #18 in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll after starting their season 12-5. Rocky Mountain College is 9-2 in Frontier Conference play placing them tied for second place and are coming off a 92-50 victory over Mayville State their last time out. The Argos are 5-5 in their last 10 matchups versus Rocky Mountain College taking the most recent matchup 69-50 in the Frontier Conference Tournament Championship in 2025.
 
Carroll College
The Fighting Saints were recieving votes in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll after starting their season 11-6. Carroll College is 9-2 in Frontier Conference play placing them tied for second place and are coming off a 68-59 victory over Valley City State State their last time out. The Argos are 6-4 in their last 10 matchups versus Carroll College taking the most recent matchup 59-55 in the Frontier Conference Tournament Semifinals in 2025.
