GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's basketball team hosts Rocky Mountain College and Carroll College on Jan. 16-17. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. (MST) on Friday and Saturday in Great Falls, Mont.
 
Stat Leaders
The Argos leading scorer so far this season has been junior Marvel Chambers Jr. who is averaging 13.5 points per game. Sophomore Quinn Swanson is leading the team in rebounds with 6.2 per game and UP has four others averaging double figure scoring in junior Marcus Lawson with 11.9, senior Brendan Redhead with 10.7, Swanson with 10.6, and senior Jakub Lloyd with 10.1 points per game. Defensively, Swanson leads the way with 1.4 steals per game.
 
Rocky Mountain College
The Battlin' Bears were receiving votes in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll after starting their season 14-3. Rocky Mountain College is 9-2 in Frontier Conference play placing them tied for second place and are coming off an 82-62 victory over Mayville State their last time out.  The Argos are 27-28 in their history versus Rocky Mountain College and are 5-5 in the last 10 matchups with UP taking the most recent meeting 100-78 in Great Falls.
 
Carroll College
The Fighting Saints were receiving votes in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll after starting their season 12-4. Carroll College is 10-1 in Frontier Conference play placing them in first place and are coming off a 93-88 victory over Valley City State State their last time out. The Argos are 4-6 in their last 10 matchups versus Carroll College taking the most recent matchup 74-70 in the Frontier Conference Tournament Semifinals in 2025.
