GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's basketball team hits the road to face #19 Montana Tech and Montana Western. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. (MST) on Friday and Saturday.
 
Stat Leaders
The Argos leading scorer so far this season has been junior Marvel Chambers Jr. who is averaging 12.9 points per game. Sophomore Quinn Swanson is leading the team in rebounds with 6.2 per game and UP has four others averaging double figure scoring in senior Brendan Redhead with 11.6, junior Marcus Lawson with 11.0, Swanson with 10.6, and senior Jakub Lloyd with 10.1 points per game. Defensively, Swanson leads the way with 1.3 steals per game.
 
Montana Tech
The Orediggers were ranked #19 in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll after starting their season 12-3. Montana Tech is 6-3 in Frontier Conference play placing them in fifth place and are coming off a 77-57 victory over Dickinson State their last time out. The Argos are 27-27 in their history versus Montana Tech but were 0-2 in Butte in 2024-2025.
 
Montana Western
The Bulldogs are 12-3 so far this season and 7-2 in Frontier Conference play coming off a 96-66 victory over Bismarck State their last time out. The Argos are 5-5 in their last 10 matchups with Montana Western going 1-1 in Dillon in 2024-2025.
