Argos Head to Butte for Frontier Conference Tournament

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's basketball team heads to Butte, Mont. for the Frontier Conference Tournament Quarterfinals on Friday, Feb. 27. Tip-off versus #15 Montana Tech is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at the Civic Center.
 
Stat Leaders
The Argos leading scorer so far this season has been junior Brooke Dial who is averaging 14.3 points per game. Dial is also leading the team in rebounds with 6.1 per game and senior Ainsley Thurber is second on the team in rebounds with 5.6 per game and is second in scoring with 11.2 points per game. Defensively, Dial leads the way with 1.4 steals per game, and junior Eliannah Ramirez is third in scoring at 10.7 points per game.
 
Frontier Conference Tournament
The Frontier Conference Tournament takes place in Butte, Mont. at the Civic Center on February 27th through March 2nd. The Argos will be the #7 Seed and will face #2 Montana Tech on Friday in the quarterfinals.
 
Montana Tech
The Orediggers are 22-4 overall and 18-4 in Frontier Conference play to award them the #2 seed in the Frontier Conference Tournament. This will be the third meeting this season between the Argos and the Orediggers with Montana Tech taking both matchups 65-58 and 79-72.

Game #5:  Game 1 winner vs. Game 3 winner – 12 p.m.
Game #6:  Game 2 winner vs. Game 4 winner – 2:30 p.m.
