GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's basketball team hosts Valley City and Mayville State on Feb. 6-7. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Great Falls.
 
Stat Leaders
The Argos leading scorer so far this season has been junior Marvel Chambers Jr. who is averaging 15.1 points per game. Sophomore Quinn Swanson is leading the team in rebounds with 6.3 per game and UP has four others averaging double figure scoring in junior Marcus Lawson with 11.7, senior Brendan Redhead with 11.0, senior Jakub Lloyd with 10.6, and Swanson with 10.5 points per game. Defensively, Swanson leads the way with 1.4 steals per game.
 
Valley City State
The Vikings are 9-12 overall and 5-11 in Frontier Conference play placing them in eighth place and are coming off an 85-81 victory over Bellevue University their last time out. This will be the second meeting this season between the Argos and the Vikings with Valley City taking the first matchup 88-80 in Valley City, N.D.
 
Mayville State
The Comets are 7-13 overall and 3-12 in Frontier Conference play placing them in 10^th place and are coming off a 75-67 loss to Bellevue University their last time out. This will be the second meeting this season between the Argos and the Comets with UP taking the first matchup 88-82 in Mayville, N.D.
