GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's basketball team hosts Valley City and Mayville State on Feb. 6-7. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. in Great Falls.
 
Stat Leaders
The Argos leading scorer so far this season has been junior Brooke Dial who is averaging 13.5 points per game. Dial is also leading the team in rebounds with 6.1 per game and senior Ainsley Thurber is second on the team in rebounds with 5.3 per game and junior Eliannah Ramirez is second in scoring with 10.9 points per game. Defensively, Dial leads the way with 1.6 steals per game, and Thurber is third in scoring at 10.5 points per game.
 
Valley City State
The Vikings are 7-13 overall and 4-12 in Frontier Conference play placing them in 10^th place and are coming off an 80-62 victory over Bellevue University their last time out. This will be the second meeting this season between the Argos and the Vikings with UP taking the first matchup 67-65 in Valley City, N.D.
 
Mayville State
The Comets are 1-19 overall and 0-16 in Frontier Conference play placing them in 12^th place and are coming off a 83-55 loss to #8 Dakota State their last time out. This will be the second meeting this season between the Argos and the Comets with UP taking the first matchup 87-66 in Mayville, N.D.
