KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA has announced the Preseason Top 25 Coaches' Poll with the University of Providence checking in as the 6
th ranked team in the NAIA.
Head CoachÂ
Arunas Duda on the preseason poll stated, "Being recognized in the preseason Top 10 is a reflection of what this group has earned through the work they've put in over the last several years, but it's only a starting point. Rankings don't win matches, and they certainly don't define our season. Our focus is on competing with consistency, embracing the challenges ahead, and earning everything that comes our way. We're excited for the opportunity to represent the University of Providence and continue building on the tradition of our program."
The Argos have been ranked in the preseason poll seven of the last eight seasons coming in at #10 in 2025, #23 in 2024, #10 in 2022, #14 in 2021, #24 in 2020, and #21 in 2019. With UP earning the #6 spot in 2026 it is their highest preseason ranking in program history.
The Frontier Conference had two other teams getting recognition in the poll with Bellevue being ranked #8 and Montana Tech receiving votes just outside the top 25.
