Before UP: Played basketball and football in high school. Named Student Athlete of the Year in 2015-16. Named MaxPrep 1st Team All-Tournament twice. Named Tarkanian Classic 1st Team All-Tournament twice. Named 1st Team All-Region three times. Named 1st Team All-State twice. Won Division MVP twice. Led both his basketball team and football team to a state championship. Named 1st Team All-State in football. Led team to three conference championships and two region championships. Named student-athlete of the year in 2015-16. Graduated with a 4.2 GPA. Ranked 12th in his class.
