AS AN ARGO – 2017: In her third year with the Lady Argos. 2016: Appeared in 21 games starting in 16... Had a 6-7 record with a 4.67 earned run average... struck out 66 in 87 innings played. 2015: Appeared in 21 games with 13 starts in the pitching circle… Had a 5-6 record with a 3.55 earned run average… struck out 49 in 92 2/3 innings while throwing seven complete games.

BEFORE UGF: Played for Snow College prior to transferring to UGF… Earned four letters while playing for the Copper Hills (West Jordan, Utah) High Grizzlies… Team won back-to-back regional titles in 2011 and 2012… Club team was TC Thunder.

PERSONAL: Majoring in biology and would like to become a veterinarian… Enjoys camping, cooking and reading… Favorite athlete is Kathy Arendsen… Favorite food is sushi… Favorite movie is The Mummy… Volunteers at the Humane Society… Daughter of Lori and Scott… Sister of Connor and Dylan… Born Shelby Ann Abeyta on June 8, 1994 in South Jordan, Utah.
