Elizabeth McSparin joins the Argo coaching staff for the first year. She comes from Paducah, Ky., and spent the last four years playing soccer at Morehead (Ky.) State University. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2014.

In 2013, McSparin helped MSU capture an Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) tournament championship and a berth into the NCAA Division I National Tournament. She started 50 matches in her career and appeared in every game.

McSparin was a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) and served as secretary and representative for the women’s soccer team for four years. She was named to the MSU Dean’s List as well as the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll. McSparin received the OVC Medal of Honor in 2013 for maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout the academic year.
