Lindsay Smith was named the Head Coach of the women's soccer program in January of 2025 after serving as an assistant coach for the previous three seasons. Smith joined the program after serving as the technical director of the Montana Rush Soccer Club for eight years. Lindsay is also a U.S. Soccer Youth National Team Scout.Â
Smith spent twelve years coaching high school serving as the head coach at Charles M. Russell High School (1997-02) and Great Falls High School (2010-16). In between, Smith coached at Humboldt State University while completing her master's degree.Â
Lindsay is currently a member of the coaching staff for the Western Region Olympic Development Program and has been since 2021. She has also been on the Rush Select National Coaching Staff since 2016 giving her the opportunity to coach internationally against elite clubs including Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Olympic Lyon, and Inter Milan’s academy teams.  Â
Additionally, Smith served four years as the director of the Montana Olympic Development program for Montana Youth Soccer and holds a USSF National B License.
