Miranda Hoidal is in her second season as the assistant coach for the University of Providence Lady Argos. Hoidal joins UP after playing goalkeeper for Western Washington University where she graduated with a degree in Kinesiology. While at WWU, Hoidal helped the team reach two NCAA Division II Final Fours and win the 2016-17 NCAA Division II National Championship. Along with her 20 years of playing experience, Hoidal has an expertise in strength and conditioning coaching.
During her high school career at Lakewood High School, Hoidal was earned as First Team All-Conference, All-Area, and All-State honors and she holds multiple school record including 22 saves in one game. The Lakewood Cougars made the program’s first appearance in the state tournament during her sophomore year and they returned again her junior and senior season. She hopes to bring a positive impact for her first season with the Argos.
