WHY UGF? “I am impressed by not only the academic rigor of many of the programs, but also by the friendly, family-like atmosphere throughout campus. I am excited to attend a university that is close to the same size as my high school and where the student to teacher ratio is so low. As a student-athlete, I feel that I will thrive in the environment at UGF because I will be able to interact with my professors on a more personal level. I also like the fact that there is high percentage of athletes. In my experience, athletes are driven and work hard. I look forward to being around other students who have the same aspirations as I do for the future. I will be away from home for the first time and I feel like having the team around will be a great substitute for my family. My interactions with the team were very positive and I found Coach Duda to be welcoming and supportive. The atmosphere within the volleyball program is very energetic, fun, and supportive.”
