GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Argo men's soccer fought hard against Carroll to a 1-1 draw on Monday afternoon.
The Argos got on the board first as
Adrian Gomez passed from top of box to
Alex Williams who netted the ball from the left side of the box to the right corner to put the Argos on top, 1-0.
Providence took the lead into the break.
The Saints scored the equalizing goal in the 65
th minute to bring the game to a 1-1 standstill.
The Argos and Saints would remain scoreless as Carroll would commit nine shots and the Argos would attempt five through both overtime periods.
The Argos led in saves, 11-1, and corner kicks, 6-4, during the match.
