Argo Lacrosse Adds Hansen to 2019 Class

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Argo lacrosse head coach Fred Boekel announced the addition of James Hansen to 2019 signing class.

A native of Selah, Washington, Hansen will enter the University of Providence as a Business Administration major and plans to later pursue law school.

Hansen wants to become an Argonaut because, "the program [at the University of Providence] seems to be uniquely individualized and highly supportive of athletic and academic success," said Hansen. "I am excited to join the program and to go even farther with this team. The coaches, team, faculty, athlete focus and support, along with the campus made me feel at home and it is just the place I want to be for my collegiate career."

Hansen, a defender, was a team captain during his 2018 junior season for the Selah High School Vikings. During his junior campaign, Hansen collected 29 ground balls and helped to lead a commanding defense for the Vikings. He also brings 10 years of lacrosse experience to help bolster an already extensive freshman class. In addition to his high school career, Hansen is also involved with club lacrosse for the Maniax out of Enumclaw, Washington.
