WHITEFISH, Mont. – Argo women's volleyball's
Parker Esary was named the Frontier Conference Player of the Week for her third time this season, marking her sixth time to earn the accolade and the Argos fifth during their 2018-19 campaign.
The Argos earned a 61-55 win over the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns on Saturday. Esary collected her seventh double-double of the season as she led all scorers with 22 points, while also collecting a season-high 16 rebounds.
Esary continues to remain tied for second in the nation in total double-doubles with seven. She also sits in the top-10 nationally in four categories. She is sixth in field goal percentage with 59.8 percent, seventh in total rebounds with 117, seventh in offensive rebounds per game with 4.18, and eighth for total rebounds per game collecting 10.64 per contest.
The Argos will open competition in Phoenix, Arizona in the Phoenix Frontier Classic on December 19 against the No. 14 Menlo College Oaks at 4 p.m.
