GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's soccer team fell to Eastern Oregon University (3-1-1) on Friday, 1-2.
During the first half, the Argos found success on their first shot of the day as
Luis Macias received a ball from
Bryan Gonzalez and shot from the middle of the 18 to hit the top cross bar and bounce in.
In the second half, the Mountaineers tied things up in the 85
th minute as Jacob Thielke sent a ball to Carlos Solorio who shot it from the top of the 18 to net the ball in the top right corner of the net.
The Mountaineers found success quick in the overtime period as Michael Ebel scored from the left 2 and found the top left of the net in the 91
st minute.
The Argos led 8-1 in saves and had two of their four shots on goal.
