Argos Edged Out by Warriors, 0-1, on Saturday

SALEM, Ore. – Argo women's soccer (4-3, 2-1) suffered their first Cascade Conference loss of the season on Saturday afternoon as the Corban Warriors dealt the Argos a 1-0 defeat.
 
Both teams came out equally match in the opening period as both made eight shots, but the Warriors were just slightly more efficient with their shots as Corban netted their eighth shot of the period in the 39th minute to put the Warriors up, 0-1, heading into the break.
 
The Argos kicked things into gear in the final 45 minutes as they outshot the Warriors, 14-7. Junior Eme McLaughlin and senior Sydney Knieriem both had a shot on goal. The Argos also led in saves during the contest, 5-2.

The Argos return to Great Falls as they will take on the Knights of Warner Pacific on September 28 and Multnomah University on September 29.
