"Each guy did what they were supposed to do tonight," head coach
Steve Keller said. "Offensively we are hard to guard. Our starting unit played great tonight, but we also have a lot of depth."Â
As a team, the Argos shot 52% from the field. They also had 27 assists, including three players with five.Â
"I thought we really shared the ball, which is what you like to see," Keller said. "You don't know how the first game is going to go. These guys had played six games so I'm pleased. Defensively we have to get better. We got a long ways to go."
The Argos will take the court Saturday night as they take on the University of Calgary, who defeated Rocky Mountain College 88-78 earlier in the evening.
"We got a tough one tomorrow," head coach
Steve Keller said. "It was a good opening game. Now we just have to take care of business against Calgary who's really good and very well-coached."
