GREAT FALLS, Mont. – A 54-44 second-half lifted the No. 13 Lewis-Clark Warriors over the No. 22 Argos on Senior Night.
The Argos fall to 18-11 on the season and 9-9 in Frontier Conference play, while the Warriors improve to 24-6 overall and 13-5 in league play.
Brandon Cotton led the way for the Argos with game-high 23 points, netting 17 of them in the second half.

Jalen Shepard, and
Jaxen Hashley followed with 17, 15, and 14 points in the loss. Hashley and Starr led the Argos with 6 rebounds apiece.
Five Warriors tallied double-digit performances in the win with Dana Abe leading the team with 21 points, adding a game-high seven boards. Damek Mitchell, Josiah Westbrook, Cordel Hankerson, and Trystan Bradley joined him in double-digits with 15, 12, 11, 10 points, respectively.
Both teams traded shots through the first three minutes of play to a 7-7 tie. The Warriors outscored the Argos 15-7 over the following seven minutes of clock to lead by eight, 22-14, halfway through the first. The Argos quickly responded with 14 unanswered points to take the lead back away from the Warriors, 28-22. The two squads would sit even at 28 and 35 with less than a minute to play. Two more points on each side would send things into the break tied at 37.
The score would remain even at 43 over the first two minutes of the second half. However, the Warriors would never relinquish the lead for the remainder of the contest. The Argos cut the lead to 1 with 10 minutes to play, 60-59, but the Warriors would maintain the advantage through the end as they took the 10-point contest, 91-81.
