"Our setters did a great job of balancing our attack," head coach
Arunas Duda said. "The biggest thing is I think our kids did a really good job of performing in practice this week. They are really working on improving. If we can continue to do that we'll be in a good spot by the end of the season."
Duda was pleased with how his team has responded as of late, especially after their home loss last week against Montana Tech.
"Last week at home we didn't play our best match but we have to look at that as a huge opportunity to grow and improve," he said. "I love what has happened in our gym since then. We've had some great practices. We're heading in the right direction. I'm extremely pleased with how we've been doing, how we're battling, and how we're learning and growing."
The Argos have a quick turn-around, as they play their rival Carroll College at 7 p.m. on Sept. 27 in Helena.
"I'm excited," Davis said. "I've never had a Carroll matchup before but I hear it's pretty intense. I'm excited to play on their floor and give them a game and see what happens. I'm pumped."
