Dillion, Mont. – University of Providence Rodeo Team concluded their fall season in Dillion, Montana at the Montana Western Invitational. The three-day event kicked off Thursday and wrapped up Saturday night with a final short go around.
UP Men's bareback rider,
Brody Shaffer, had a good weekend with a 4
th place finish scoring 57 points in the Friday night short round. That score placed Brody 2
nd in the average for the weekend.
On the women's side for UP, Helena native Stephane Bartness, made an 18.18 run in barrel racing Friday and an 18.29 on Saturday which was enough to finish 6
th place in the overall average for the weekend.
Stephanie Rollins competed in the breakaway roping in which she caught her calf in 9 second and that was good enough to place her third in the average for the weekend.
The University of Providence has completed their fall competition and now they will prepare for the spring rodeo season.
